Summary The primary purpose of this job is to lead the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance team in assigning job duties, managing the parts system, and general upkeep of the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Trouble shoot and repair all equipment at the plant as needed.

Perform preventative maintenance procedures as needed.

Operate a forklift.

Operate scissor lift.

Trouble shoot, repair and/or replace pumps and piping systems.

Trouble shoot and repair and/or modify electrical wiring and controls circuits.

Trouble shoot, repair and/or replace electrical motors, gearboxes, drive systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.

Provide technical assistance to Maintenance Technicians and plant as required.

Identify training opportunities and recommend training department wide.

Plan and coordinate Maintenance Training.

Acts as Maintenance lead to of Maintenance Technicians

Represent the Maintenance Department in plant wide shift change and participate in Lead training.

Coordinate maintenance functions for workorders and PM's. Removed "in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor"

Ordering and keeping inventory of replacement parts.

Scheduling and overseeing the contractors for plant repairs.

Coordinating and leading plant or equipment shutdowns. "Example: Dryer Washes"

Education and/or Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience as a plant Maintenance Tech II or higher
