What You'll Do

As a Manager, Systems Engineering - Customer Engagement, you will be role responsible for driving Customer Engagement vision, strategy, and execution. This is a customer-facing role that focuses on supporting our engineering team as we together uncover business benefits for customers when moving to CCaaS and CPaaS solutions. You will have direct responsibility for leading and developing a team of high functioning, technical specialists.

Leadership by influence is a critical skill in this role as you drive the Customer Engagement strategy and assume matrixed responsibility with cross architecture and portfolio teams as well as channels. Providing leadership to regional account teams to help them develop strategy to meet the customer's business outcomes. As a leader, you will coach engineers through the qualification, pre-sales demonstration, proof of concept or trials process. Customer happiness and success is key; a high amount of focus is placed on collaboration application adoption and developing customers. This leader should bring innovative ways to drive business and be able to quickly build relationships and a network of resources that will benefit the business.

Who You Are

You are motivated, and results oriented with a leadership background in cloud-based communication technologies. This is inclusive of the core Customer Experience / CCaaS solutions including CPaaS, AI and industry partner solutions. Strong experience with Cloud technologies such as microservices and APIs, as well as cloud business concepts such as SaaS pricing will be needed. Knowledge of competitive products is also required with this position. You'll have expertise across as many platforms as possible, as well as have prior management experience at Cisco or an equivalent environment. The best candidate will understand how to approach customers in this market to drive understanding and preference to Cisco's Customer Engagement solutions.
* Minimum three years management experience required
* Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of business leaders and audience sizes
* Knowledge of the CCaaS field and Cisco's Customer Experience Solutions
* Strong business acuity and customer presence
* Understanding of software sales motions
* Presales experience required
