We are excited to be recruiting for new talent to join our growing and innovative team - Junior Logistics Technician!

The responsibilities of this role may include:



  • Handles inventory, processes orders, plans warehouse layouts, and helps design product packaging to maximize shipping efficiency
  • Develops the most streamlined, efficient method of product distribution possible
  • Utilizes Deltek CostPoint as logistics technology for effective and efficient support of products, equipment, system manufacturing, or service
  • Assists management in purchasing, warehousing, distribution, forecasting, and/or customer service
  • Processes orders, prepares packing lists, packages outgoing materials, takes care of shipping logistics, and ensures the accuracy and timeliness of incoming and outgoing orders
  • Tracks shipment details, locations, and estimated time of arrivals
  • Communicates with team members, carriers and trucking companies, vendors and others in the supply chain process regarding shipping and delivery issues
  • Reports customer requests; responds to shipping complaints, lost items, and damaged freight; and assists customers as needed
  • Receives incoming materials, compares what has been shipped with the shipment order, ensures the materials are in good condition, stocks the materials in the warehouse, and files corresponding documentation
  • Updates and maintains inventory control databases, and ensures that orders are received, verified for accuracy, and tracked
  • Works with shipping vendors and monitors shipping timelines
  • Ensures shipping carrier requirement and regulations are met, and notifies customers if shipments are delayed
  • Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or other documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped
  • Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to other designated areas
  • Sorts and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to specification and process and procedure
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or to a designated area for delivery
  • Prepares materials and products for delivery
  • Opens boxes, bales, crates and other containers
  • Marks materials with identifying information in compliance with the established procedures
  • Ensures that newly shipped goods operate as required
  • Works directly with Installation Managers and Install Team to coordinate when material is needed to be moved to the integration floor and packed up for shipment
  • Works with Procurement Team to track lead times of existing purchase orders, missing items, and/or discrepancies
  • Coordinates incoming/outgoing deliveries with other AV3 facilities
  • Assists in the counting and recording of physical inventory
  • Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness
  • Carries out warehouse and inventory control policies and procedures
  • Operates a forklift, hand truck, box truck, and other vehicles to perform duties
  • Uses hand and power tools proficiently
  • Build shipping crates when needed
  • Makes deliveries to customer sites when necessary (Up to 25% travel)
  • Performs all other duties as assigned


To qualify for this position, you must possess a High School diploma and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
