Senior Benefits Analyst

GEICO is seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst to join our People Group. You will analyze data as well as prepare reports, while identifying opportunities to streamline and minimize cycle times through process improvement. In addition, you will assist your team and peer groups with special projects to support company-wide strategic initiatives.

RESPONSIBITIES:

  • Administer and oversee benefit billing for all lines of coverage
  • Develop benefit communication
  • Prepare company HR-related guidance and monthly variance explanations to each Line of Business
  • Perform various projects and ad-hoc analyses
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of HR benefits
  • Manage the annual enrollment process and ensure timely enrollment of new providers
  • Issue required plan disclosures and notices and oversee documentation and enrollment process with new physicians
  • Conduct training and orientation sessions with new associates to explain our plan offering
  • Create standard of work documentation for all benefit processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • SME with benefits billing
  • Strong technical skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex issues concisely
  • Excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing with strong track record of meeting challenging deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills to manage large data volumes, understand and produce trends with commentary
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Workday)
  • Adheres to the GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.
  • Meets attendance standard of the business location, to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with subordinates and management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years administering benefits
  • Experience in benefits strategy and design preferred
  • Experience with digital and visual platforms and communication systems preferred
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

LOCATION:

  • Hybrid - 2-3 days/week

Annual Salary

$58,000.00 - $113,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
