As the Director of Product and Market Analytics, you'll be instrumental in leveraging vast troves of data to shape strategic decisions, drive product innovation, and steer business operations. This role is both a "player and coach," meaning you'll be expected to provide hands-on expertise while collaborating with and influencing key stakeholders to drive impactful outcomes. Main Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth regression analyses to identify trends, correlations, and causal relationships within various data sets as it pertains to educational platforms and products.
- Manage the integration and analysis of large structured and unstructured datasets, including workforce data, online educational program data, and selected partner data.
- Provide strategic guidance to business leaders based on data-driven insights
- Lead large-scale exploratory data analyses to identify product opportunities for both growth and optimization.
- Design and conduct predictive analyses to inform our strategy and enhance our educational offerings.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and create solutions
- Develop and implement robust data management practices to ensure the integrity and security of our data.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related field is required
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, including experience in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to work with large, complex data sets and perform detailed data exploration and validation.
- Advanced expertise in regression analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
- Higher Education experience a must.
- Experience in merging and analyzing large structured and unstructured data sets
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
