The lab of Dr. Frederick Alt at Boston Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Senior Lab Manager to manage both day-to-day lab operations and vital research work. The Alt lab seeks to understand mechanisms that maintain genomic stability in mammalian cells. They research programmed genetic recombination and hypermutation processes required for the generation of the immensely diverse antibody repertoires of immune cells known as B lymphocytes. The team's current focus is the active regulation of these processes within chromatin across antibody gene loci. They also study mechanisms that promote and prevent genetic translocations that can lead to lymphoid and other cancers. Compensation Range $89,650.00 (minimum) - $112,000.00 (midpoint) - $145,640.00 (maximum)Pay Type: AnnualHHMI's salary structure is developed based on relevant job market data. HHMI considers a candidate's education, previous experiences, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity when making job offers. Typically, a new hire for this position in this location is compensated between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary range. |
