Multi-Domain C3 Senior Engineer

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 15 years of relevant technical work experience
• Experience leading the planning and execution of complex systems analysis efforts for the DoD and/or IC
• Experiencing conducting systems engineering tasks related to connecting sensors across Services to weapons platform and shooters
• Experience leading assessments of threat kill chains and kill webs to analyze mission threads, develop system models, and conduct engineering trade studies
• Master's degree in Engineering

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Self-starter, able to take initiative and operate independently
• Ability to develop high-quality, professional briefings and written reports to succinctly capture technical concepts for senior DoD leadership and Congress
• Familiarity with current Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) and Joint Fires Network (JFN) efforts within the DoD

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides subject-matter expertise to rapidly explore and prototype multi-domain command, control, and communications (C3) capabilities to synchronize data sharing and decision making for joint warfighting
• Delivers technical assessments and analysis to provide recommended innovative approaches, technologies, and capabilities to close critical joint warfighting capability gaps
• Provides technical expertise to inform mission engineering studies, prototype development, experimentation, and global integrated wargaming
• Provides technical analysis and advice to help inform capability requirements development and validation through the JCIDS process
• Collaborates with Service, Joint Staff, and OSD stakeholders to support the transition of technologies from prototypes and joint experimentation activities to Service programs of record
• Prepares and delivers reports and briefings for senior DoD leadership and Congress
