Summary of Position The Salvation Army Northern Division is hiring a Thrift Store Worker/Designated Driver. In this position they will manage donated clothing and items by sorting, pricing, and appropriately displaying items received. Lifting heavy boxes and picking up items at their location or delivery of items as needed. Must have required health card to drive store truck. This is a regular full-time position with a work week expectation of 40 hours. Expected pay is $13.75 per hour. 700 S Riverfront Dr., Mankato, MN 56001 Qualifications High school diploma, or general equivalence diploma (GED) and you must be at least 18 years of age. Possess an aptitude in both written and oral communication, be trustworthy, especially in confidential matters and be well organized and efficient. Helpful, courteous and respectful demeanor, with ability to work well with fellow employees and volunteers, take supervision from thrift store management and demonstrate concern for thrift store customers. Must be able to pass The Salvation Army's background check, clerical screenings and MMVR drivers' qualification, must pass the background checks and be willing to support the mission of The Salvation Army. It must be understood by the incumbent that the provisions of Safe From Harm will apply upon commencement of employment and also understood that the required Safe From Harm training be satisfactorily completed within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
