The department has 80 full-time faculty members. In addition to the MS and PhD programs described above, the department offers two undergraduate degrees, a BS in Computer Science(BS-CS) and a BS in Applied Computer Science (BS-ACS). The department also participates in interdisciplinary degree programs such as the PhD in Information Technology. For more information on the department, visit our website: https://cs.gmu.edu/ About the Position: The department's primary need for Adjunct Faculty is for graduate-level teaching, but opportunities for undergraduate-level teaching are also occasionally available. The department has four master's degree programs-MS in Computer Science, MS in Information Security Assurance, MS in Information Systems, and MS in Software Engineering, and a PhD in Computer Science. These programs serve over 1000 part-time and full-time students. The department offers more than 50 graduate courses each semester. Courses are offered on GMU's Fairfax campus and are typically offered in the evening to accommodate part-time students who hold full-time jobs. In addition, the department is offering an increasing number of courses at GMU's Mason Square campus in Arlington. Courses may be offered in several formats: face-to-face, online, and hybrid.
