Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $210,000. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: October 27, 2023 Most recent review date: Monday, Mar 25, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Saturday, Oct 26, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis is actively recruiting dynamic and forward-thinking Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) with doctoral qualifications who are eager to join the School of Nursing as the Program Director of the DNP-FNP. UC Davis Health, situated on a contemporary 140-acre campus in Sacramento, California, is offering non-tenured positions within the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) Series at the Assistant, Associate, and Full ranks, or full-time Clinical X Series. The Sacramento campus serves as the vibrant home to an array of institutions, including the School of Nursing, School of Medicine, UC Davis Medical Center (including a level-I trauma center and burn unit, and a comprehensive range of outpatient services), a fully accredited Children's Hospital, and an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Practice locations encompass UC Davis Health Medical Center, UC Davis departmental and primary care network clinics, Sacramento County clinics, local FQHCs, and various other clinical sites. The DNP-FNP program follows a hybrid format, seamlessly blending distance-based education with four in-person immersions on campus. Courses are primarily asynchronous, ensuring maximum flexibility for working nurses with diverse schedules. Faculty members in this program will follow a hybrid schedule, with requirements to be on-campus for set educational, administrative, and school obligations. The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $210,000. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. TEACHING RESPONSIBILITIES: ELIGIBILITY FOR DNP PROGRAM DIRECTOR: The DNP Program Director will contribute up to 75% effort to the role of Program Director. The Program Director is expected to be knowledgeable about nurse practitioner and DNP practice, education, accreditation standards, and regulations to ensure that the education of the DNP students is of high caliber and meets all accreditation standards and guidelines (including NONPF, CCNE and BRN), as well as be able to administer all aspects of the program. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: * Acting as a leader, ambassador and representative for the DNP program and the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis.
