Description

Fenway Health is seeking an experienced Manager of Integrated Behavioral Health Services to join our dedicated and multidisciplinary Behavioral Health team. We are seeking applicants with demonstrated experience providing culturally competent behavioral health care to a diverse adult population including LGBTQ individuals, people of color, individuals with substance use issues, survivors of abuse, survivors of community violence, medically complex and vulnerable individuals, young adults, and older adults.

As the Manager of Integrated Behavioral Health Services, you will assist in the oversight of integrated behavioral health programming and oversee the clinical and administrative supervision of 7 direct reports. As part of your clinical work, you will provide behavioral health counseling, advocacy, and referrals to community resource services to primary care patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the administrative and clinical supervision of behavioral health staff dedicated to integration within Primary Care Teams.
  • Assists the Director of Behavioral Health with behavioral health integration program strategy, design and development.
  • Under the direction of the Director of Behavioral Health, and in collaboration with medical department leadership, has primary responsibility for developing behavioral health initiatives designed to improve the health outcomes of identified patient populations (depression, diabetes, obesity, chronic pain).
  • In collaboration with the nursing and primary care team leadership, assists in the design of the daily operations of the teams ensuring coordination and collaboration of behavioral health integration specialists with case management and primary care team members.
  • Provides behavioral health counseling, advocacy, and referrals to community resource services to primary care patients at 35% effort.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements
  • Graduate-level degree in mental health or a related social services field.
  • Independent licensure as an LICSW or LMHC.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant clinical experience with at least 4 years of post-licensure experience in providing direct client care across clinical settings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical and administrative supervisory experience within a healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with integrated behavioral health programming.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to multitask in a team-based environment
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with colleagues, patients, clients, and vendors across the spectrum of diversity, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, national origin and immigrant status, religious or spiritual identity, disability (physical, mental, emotional and developmental), veteran status, and/or limited English proficiency.
