Introduction System Delivery

System Delivery Management (SDM) is the internal ASML customer, securing on behalf of the Business Line the manufacturing, delivery and installation of systems against the agreed timing, costs and quality.

Context of the position

The Senior Project Lead System Delivery owns a subset of the HMI System Delivery Management priorities. He/she acts as the internal customer and business partner to our Factories, Supply Chain Management and Purchase Organizations and will initiate, drive and help secure successful system deliveries and a wide range of (cross sector) improvements.

The Senior Project Lead has interfaces with internal suppliers, Tainan and Twinscan Factory, Sourcing & Procure, Plan & deliver as well as Customer Support. In addition represents where needed the business to external customers as well as suppliers.

Senior project lead System Delivery

The Senior Manager will oversee the Making and Installation of HMI products. Her/his focus will be on securing system deliveries to customers, while in parallel improving the HMI value chain. Successful delivery can be seen as meeting and exceeding customers' expectations through reliable deliveries, meeting agreed cost and quality targets, while having ASML prepared for future market and product requirements.

To do this, he/she will work with cross-sectoral teams and cross-programs to meet the business targets.

The Sr. Project lead is part of the System Delivery Management department of HMI within BL Apps and is reporting to the head of system delivery management.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities
  • Owns the System Delivery reporting on KPIs, Business Progress and Improvement Initiatives
  • Coordinate cross sectoral and cross department structural reporting on business topics
  • Generate business insights by combining several data sources used in various sectors within the organization
  • Challenge, influence and debottleneck the business order fulfillment of mature and new products through cross department analysis, identify improvement areas and escalates when business is at risk
  • Reports on the effective usage of capital throughout the organization for deliveries (Capex, Inventory, ..) and advises on business investments and improvement initiatives
  • Report and present on operational progress & business improvement initiatives, identify issues and formulate clear help requests to senior management
  • Own the cross-sector interface with Finance, Manufacturing, Customer Support and Supply Chain Management on reporting structures, data integrity, data and tool structures, etc.
  • When interested in project management and proven successful as an analyst; start absorbing project management tasks within the System Delivery Management team.
Education and experience
  • University Master degree with relevant content (for example: Industrial engineering, Business economics, Supply Chain Management, Value Chain Engineering, ...)
  • 10+ years of work experience at academic level
  • Experience with matrix organizations and cross sector projects
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience with new product introductions
  • Work experience in operations (supply chain / purchasing / manufacturing / installation) departments

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $173,625-$289,375. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
