About this Position:

As the Enterprise Social Media Sr. Strategist, you will be responsible for helping to develop and implement a comprehensive social media governance strategy for the complex organization. Your role will involve ensuring that the company's US social media activities align with its overall goals, values, and industry regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish best practices and guidelines for social media use throughout the organization.

The Social Media team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented marketing and communications professional to serve as the company's Enterprise Social Media Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-wide strategies for Honda's complex business to help strengthen the relationship Honda has with its current and future customers, associates, and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

* Create a tiered strategy to support the social media marketing needs of 17+ Honda groups, Business Units, and subsidiaries

* Identify departments in need of significant social support and partner closely to provide cornerstone strategy, content development consultation, and quantitate analysis

* Oversee the full enterprise-level editorial calendar, including unique content for both organic and paid programming

* Service as final approver of all planned posts, ensuring adherence to most current best-in-class and brand guidelines (e.g. accessibility adherences, tone of voice)

* Conduct quarterly analysis on interdepartmental content performance, provide insights and recommendations for optimization

* Lead strategy for cross-platform security and privacy practices, working with each department to analyze their setups and drive implementation

* Perform quarterly audits ensuring all security protocols are adhered to and refreshed with each platform update

* Partner with Enterprise Social Media Sr. Strategist to build out executive and employee advocacy programs tied to major product launches, corporate initiatives, and marketing campaigns

* Manage individual executive editorial calendars, ensuring all planning ladders up to business goals and utilizes best-in-class content strategies

* Lead performance analysis and provide key insights to optimize new content and positioning

Qualifications

Required Work Experience:

* 3-4 years of experience in social media or similar roles

Required Education:

* BA / BS in marketing, communications, or related work experience

Desired skills:

* Proficient in social media platform native insights and capabilities

* Proficiency in social media content apps such as Canva and native platform capabilities

* Autonomous, highly motivated and goal-oriented

* Organized with strong attention to detail

* Superior time management skills

* A knowledge of social media management tools a plus (Sprout Social, social listening tools, brand reputation tools, etc.)

* Experience working in a regulated industry a plus

* Competitive base salary $ 64,480 - $ 92,400
