As a Research Scientist specializing in Generative AI, you will be at the forefront of advancing computer vision technology. This role involves both the creation of groundbreaking models and the practical application of these models within our diverse array of applications. We are looking for someone who is passionate about transforming the way we interact with digital content through innovative AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop state-of-the-art computer vision models in Generative AI, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to transition models from research to real-world application across our family of apps.
  • Engage with other researchers and engineers within the organization to innovate and implement new models.
  • Contribute significantly to research publications and present findings at top-tier conferences and venues.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Vision or a closely related technical field.
  • Deep understanding of advanced computer vision concepts, including diffusion models, GANs, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Proven track record with first author publications in prestigious computer vision conferences (CVPR, NeurIPS, ECCV, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, ICML, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable research experience through internships, work experience, coding competitions, or notable open source contributions (e.g., GitHub).
  • Practical experience in deploying computer vision models in a production environment.
  • Expertise in optimizing model architectures and algorithms for various hardware platforms including CPU/GPU, mobile, and specialized hardware.
  • Publications or significant contributions in Generative AI topics such as diffusion models and LLMs.

Location:

This is a long-term contract position requiring the candidate to be based in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut.
