Job Title: Editor Contract: 1 year -With potential extension based on performance and business needs Location: Madison, NJ, Irvine, CA, Mettawa, IL (location needs specified with each request) Brief Information: Our website gets updated continuously, all day, every day. Currently, we have one QC specialist, but the workload has increased, necessitating extra support. This position focuses on both editorial tasks and quality control (QC) work. Qualifications & Requirements / Skillset: We are looking for someone who enjoys reading and has an interest in editorial tasks combined with QC responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be more junior level, as this is not a managerial role. We do not need someone with extensive experience for this position. The team holds a daily scrum call to review the progress of 25 ongoing projects. Web specialists, authors, and the QC specialist participate in these calls. We are looking for someone adaptable and comfortable with change. Primary responsibilities of this role: Check all authored work against Project Brief before it is sent to Web Specialists (WS) Check all authored edits post-MRP review, before WS/agency review, and before screen-shotting for Final submission QC all Content Matrices before they are submitted to Platform Team - Submit to Platform team and own the communication to streamline process. Own QC Metrics and reporting for Content projects Partner with Web Specialists to produce FRD Functional Requirement Document updates. Be flexible. Embrace and exercise a Test and learn approach to adopt and modify over time key enhancements to overall web authoring and publishing process. Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and follow-through on execution. Veeva Vault training and experience required. Strong project management abilities and critical work tool experience. e.g. Excel, Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint, Smartsheet Ability to work and lead independent initiatives without day-to-day supervision. Able to prioritize & gracefully manage competing priorities to ensure deadlines are met. Collaborative nature and ability to influence and guide cross-functional stakeholders. Acumen for how digital agencies operate: scope of work process/mgmt., timelines. Inquisitive, strong analytical skills, including the ability to infer and apply learnings. Qualifications: List required and preferred qualifications (up to 10). Include education, skills and experience. Minimum 2-3 years of QA testing experience and/or web editing experience In depth knowledge and experience working on commercial websites Experience in Agile frameworks desired.
