Summer Intern - Deposit Services

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Review Stop Suspect report
  • Process mail returns including customer contact for validation
  • Process all deposit fee refunds
  • Process deposit correction fees
  • Work stale dated cashier's checks and prepare letters for members
  • Provide phone support to the branches
  • Obey all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
  • All other duties assigned by the supervisor


Summer Internship Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:



  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Must have completed at least one year of college and currently enrolled in college
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday, mid-May through August
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Detailed oriented and willing to help others


Desired Skills and Competencies:



  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Basic Computer Skills


Physical Requirements:



  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
  • Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
  • Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
