Overview

This position is responsible for providing paralegal support to the Vice President - Associate General Counsel and other attorneys in the Legal Department.



Responsibilities

    Assist in all aspects of transactions and contract management including drafting corporate certificates, obtaining good standing documents, organizing closings, obtaining signature pages and liaising across various departments within the company
  • Manage all company subsidiaries with respect to filings, annual meetings and other legal requirements and formalities
  • Assist attorneys with contract preparation
  • Assist with preparing for board meetings including liaising with corporate secretary in administration and preparation of board materials
  • Assist with establishment and maintenance of branch offices
  • Assist with managing Powers of Attorney
  • Assist attorneys with Know Your Customer ("KYC")
  • Assist with other administrative Legal Department matters, as appropriate.


Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree from a 4-year accredited institution and a strong academic background preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a law firm or corporate legal department paralegal required
  • Experience at an aircraft leasing firm or airline preferred but not required
  • International experience a plus but not required

Skills:

  • Possess strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong ability to manage complex and varied workloads and to prioritize workloads
  • Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility with schedule a must
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with attorneys and other personnel

Salary Range: $72,800 - $98,500

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
