Principal Design Engineer

Job duties and requirements include:

• Developing the company's next generation of PCI Express/CXL switches

• Defining the Chip architecture details

• Documenting the detailed microarchitecture specification

• Highly proficient in logic design, Verilog and/or System-Verilog, with a good understanding of Computer Architecture and Digital Systems design

• A deep understanding of ASIC design flow including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, timing analysis, floor-planning, System-On-Chip design/integration flow, and design automation

• Strong coding skills in Perl, Python, or other industry-standard scripting languages

• Supporting and driving design activities leading to ASIC tapeout

• Hands on experience with emulation platform

• Detailed understanding of PCI/PCIe/CXL specification

• Good understand of I2C/I3C/AXI is preferred

• Work experience with multi-million gate high speed designs

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $126,000 - $210,000.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
