Neuro-Oncology & Solid Tumors Clinical Research Coordinator HDF Comprehensive Cancer Ctr Full Time 75426BR Job Summary The Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (HDFCCC) is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join the Pediatric Oncology/Hematology research team to assist with our Neuro-Oncology and Solid Tumors portfolio. The Clinical Research Coordinator will perform independently to execute, manage, and coordinate research protocols, as directed by the Clinical Research Manager and/or the Principal Investigator (PI), and/or the Associate Director for the Clinical Research Programs. The incumbent will coordinate the operations and data collection of several concurrent clinical research studies under the guidelines of research protocols, UCSF and regulating agency policies. Incumbent's duties may include, but will not be limited to supporting the management and coordinating the tasks of single or multiple clinical research studies (sponsored, cooperative group, and investigator-initiated studies), depending on their size and complexity; act as intermediary between services and departments while overseeing data and specimen management; manage and report on study results; create, clean, update, and manage databases and comprehensive datasets and reports; help assure compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies; oversee study data integrity; implement and maintain periodic quality control procedures; interface with departments to obtain UCSF approval prior to study initiation; assist in maintaining relevant regulatory documents in partnership with the Regulatory department; report study progress to investigators; participate in any internal and external audits or reviews of study protocols; and perform other duties as assigned. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
