Under supervision, the Study Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and conducting multi-site projects with adolescents and young adults at clinical high risk for developing psychosis or who have experienced a recent onset of psychosis to ensure timely and methodologically sound adherence to research protocols within the Department of Psychiatry. Work in collaboration with study staff to initiate study, resolve problems and provide detailed updates of enrollment and data collection. The position requires strong technical skills and the ability to set up new and modify existing EEG testing paradigms on Biosemi recording system as well as troubleshoot technical issues associated with collecting EEG data to ensure accurate recording. Project coordination will require involvement in all aspects of conducting research studies including: 1) Screening potential study participants to determine eligibility for ongoing studies and schedule as appropriate; 2) Obtaining informed consent/assent; 3) Obtaining medical records to determine study eligibility; 4) Processing of biospecimens, shipping and storing of blood, urine and saliva samples; 5) Scoring and entering data into database. Recruiter tasks will require timely recruitment, screening, and enrollment of qualified study participants for ongoing research studies and for supporting recruitment-related administrative and outreach efforts. Assist with other project and miscellaneous duties as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $58,548 - $94,190 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $28.04 - $45.11 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
