Community Care Alliance is proud to offer an array of services supporting individuals who are homeless/unstably housed and coping with mental health and substance use challenges. Many of these services are part of Safe Haven. The Integrated Health Home team is comprised of a multidisciplinary team. We are searching for a Peer Recovery Specialist to support this team.

Required Qualification:

  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of mental health and substance use issues.
  • Must be certified or willing to work towards certification.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports clients to build recovery capital, individually and in groups.
  • Create opportunities to engage in substance-free social activities.
  • Connect clients to Detox and higher levels of care.
  • Able to develop treatment plans and use an EHR.
