About this Position:

The payment Services Analyst is responsible for facilitating the processing of all electronic fund transfer (EFT) and all incoming and outgoing Automated Clearing House (ACH) files representing payrolls for AHM, HDMA, as well as payments for Honda Federal Credit Union (HFCU) members. This position is also responsible for processing exceptions to the balancing General Ledger Accounts for Digital Banking HPay (Person-to-Person) transfers and Digital Banking External Transfers. Other responsibilities include, accurately processing all ATM, debit, and credit card PIN/POS disputes, fraud claims, and Shared Branch network deposit activity in accordance with COOP, Regulation E, and Visa guidelines. Manage suspected Fraud through contacting members. Will also serve as a back-up operator for the Senior Payment Services Specialist.

Responsibilities include:

* Determine risk; Decision and process of all ACH returned and rejected transactions

* Managing losses to below industry standard associated with disputed and fraudulent PIN/POS debit card and ATM card activity, manage losses for HPAY and external transfer services

* Ensure compliance with all Federal Regulations, NACHA rules and guidelines, and Accounting rules and best practices

Qualifications

Required Work Experience:



  • One plus year of experience in Automated Clearing House (ACH) processing and dispute/claims resolution
  • One plus year if ATM and PIN/POS exception processing regarding Regulation E Compliance
  • Working knowledge of basic regulatory frameworks, including Visa, Regulation E and NACHA rules and guidelines
  • Sound Knowledge of Electronic Funds Transfers Act and Electronic Error Resolutions Process
  • Working knowledge of EFT regulations
  • Working knowledge of Automated Teller Machines (ATM) operations and Plastic Card Products
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (Both Written and Verbal) and analytical skills are critical
  • Strong knowledge of ACH Regulations
  • Strong knowledge of EFT Regulations
  • Strong working knowledge of MS word, excel, Outlook
  • working knowledge of adobe acrobat



Required Education:



  • BS degree or 4 years related Financial Institution experience with ACH and EFT processing
