Work Schedule

Monday - Thursday, between 8AM - 9PM, up to 19.5 hours per week; shift hours and days may vary depending on location needs; select locations are open on Friday.

Job Summary

Provides front-line customer service and performs administrative/clerical duties at a community-based location serving a diverse population of adult education students.

Essential Functions

50% - Conducts student intake and registration; collects fee payments; input student demographics, attendance, and assessment data into a state database; maintains accurate program and student records
40% - Provides a variety of general and specific information regarding courses and programs offered; uses multi-line phones, computers, and general office equipment on a daily basis
10% - Troubleshoots technology issues, assist with event set up, schedule appointments, and performs related tasks in support of the operations at the location.

Minimum Qualifications

A. High school diploma or equivalent required
B. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
C. Experience in a customer service environment
D. Effective written communication and organizational skills

Desired Qualifications

A. Experience in clerical/administrative work within a fast-paced environment
B. Experience working with diverse backgrounds and non-traditional learners
