This job is in the Middle East. You must be willing to relocate to the Middle East.

As the Contract Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development and administration of contracts. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating contract development, offering complex technical advice, and supporting the entire contract lifecycle from conception to termination. Key duties include participating in bid processes, negotiating contract terms, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and providing direction on contract actions.

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in mega project contracting within the Oil & Gas Industry, preferably downstream.
  • Working experience participating in bid processes, negotiating contract terms, and ensuring compliance.
  • Overall knowledge of contracting techniques.
  • Good knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint, Excel



Key Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate and administer contract development.
  • Provide complex technical advice and support throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Develop scopes of work for various contract services.
  • Conduct bid reviews, negotiations, and verifications. Prepare bid responses, negotiation offers, and counter offers.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate contracting policies and procedures.
  • Assist during emergencies, turnarounds, and major work activities.
  • Conduct Job-Ex meetings and coordinate site visits.
  • Develop status reports for executive management.
  • Serve as the contract proponent representative on bid review teams.
  • Represent on Claim Review Panels.
  • Provide proponent representation in contract administration.
  • Participate in the development of financial and technical advice.
  • Contribute to justifications and recommendations for changes in contracting procedures.
  • Perform periodic examinations of Contract Administration in the field.
