We are searching for an RN Resource Nurse for the Emergency Dept. to perform a variety of duties involving the coordination of both clinical and non- clinical care activities including but not limited to staff assignments, staffing levels, etc. Provide guidance, support and coordinate orientation of all new staff members. Provide clinical and leadership direction for assigned personnel and activity on various hospital nursing unit.

Welcome to the Emergency Department at St. Luke's Hospital! We have earned official designation as a Level II Adult Trauma Center. Our trauma center is the first of its kind in the region. Our RNs have access to new technologies, professional development resources, and an engaged leadership team. We partner with pediatricians from Boston Children's Hospital to provide specialized care in the emergency room and pediatric unit.

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Hours: 24 hours (Part time with Benefits)

Shift: 3:00pm-3:30am with weekend & holiday rotations



Education and/or Experience Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent is required.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • A minimum of one year clinical experience in an appropriate setting, i.e. Emergency Medicine, Acute Care, is required.
  • Required BLS ACLS PALS TNCC
