Job Summary:

The Sharing Economy Team

The Sharing Economy segment at Arity is ideating, building and delivering exciting mobility-based, data powered innovative and functional products to meet the needs of a growing Gig Economy. Small and medium businesses are evolving to cater to customers who choose convenience and opt for delivery on demand for their basic and other needs.

The Role

We have an opportunity for you to innovate, influence, transform, and grow within Arity. The specific role is for a Senior Product Manager. responsible for ideation, design, and delivery of unique new data products to help our clients drive operational efficiencies and retain their customers in the delivery on demand segment. You will lead the product discovery, roadmap, and backlog while serving as the stakeholder and product owner for a diverse scrum team that include engineering, data scientists, and designers.

You will report to the Group Product Manager for the Sharing Economy team.

Responsibilities:

* Create the product vision, translate it into product strategy and communicate that strategy in the form of product requirements in an agile environment
* Ability to identify challenges in the small and medium business segment that deliver groceries, ready to eat meals etc
* Technical acumen to quickly learn from and collaborate with data scientists and developers
* Grit to jump in when challenges arise, navigate ambiguity & stick with it to continuously improve your product & your team
* Create a product roadmap to guide sharing economy oriented product from ideation through design and into release
* Seek out and understand the data and research necessary to understand the segment and rigorously pay attention to industry trends; Establish and maintain domain expertise on product, market, and competitors
* Ensure transparency and alignment across the scrum team, bridging the gap between product and different departments involved in progressing your product to launch, including design and research, analytics, engineering, etc
* Be the "Business Owner"; assess product opportunities and contribute to prioritization of initiatives and strategic decisions objectively and using market analyses
* Define and monitor the measures of success for the team's product efforts, and ensure that we are continually expanding our ability to test & learn through experimentation
* Manage and participate in the backlog and provide clear & timely stakeholder feedback on development progress

Qualifications:

* Minimum 3+ years' experience as a product manager
* Ability to handle simultaneous projects while balancing scope, time and quality
* A strong sense of ownership and accountability for goals and deliverables
* Demonstrated success cross functionally influencing teams without formal authority
* Entrepreneurial bent with a strong inclination towards taking initiative and action
* Demonstrable experience using metrics to drive decision-making
* Ability to communicate effectively across diverse stakeholders and levels of leadership
* Understanding of and experience working in an Agile development environment
* Undergraduate degree
