Talent Onboarding Specialist

Job Description

The Talent Onboarding Specialist provides support for workforce members. This position is primarily responsible for facilitating and maintaining employment processes by ensuring the integrity of the policies and procedures of Human Resources and the organization. This position is a human resources professional who is responsible for obtaining information on work history, training, education, and job skills for open positions. Provides administrative support for the recruitment processes. Handles routine applicant correspondence, processes team member onboarding, and ensures pre-employment background checks are completed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the new hire onboarding process, which includes maintaining applicant's data, analyzing applicant's information, running various checks on applicants (background, PEP, licensure, fingerprinting etc.) resolving issues, and communicating with applicants and necessary team members who do or do not clear through all new hire process checks.
  • Assists with improvement initiatives to create cost, quality, and cycle time efficiencies in all onboarding processes for the organization.
  • Process all new hire data in to HRIS System and ensures data integrity
  • Responsible for preparing new hires for orientation.
  • Responsible for coordinating recruitment event logistics as necessary.


Qualifications

  • Associates Degree Required. Three years of related experience maybe considered in lieu of degree Required.
  • 6 months Customer Service/Administrative experience Required.
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources (CP_SHRM) SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or PHR certification Preferred.
  • Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources (SCP_SHRM) Preferred.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR_HRCI) Preferred.
  • Basic HR knowledge and knowledge of Federal regulations regarding employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including problem solving skills and conflict-resolution
  • Strong communication skills including influencing and collaborating.
  • Ability to work independently on projects.
  • High level of initiative.
  • Ability to effectively set priorities, manages multiple projects, and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions; Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a faced paced, intense work environment and adapt to constant changes and competing priorities.
