Seneca Foods in Rochester, MN is currently seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our Freezer Warehouse and Production team. Assigned mechanical job duties to maintain and repair food processing equipment. Completes repairs during the processing season to meet production goals. Overhaul and install plant equipment during non-production periods to be ready for the next scheduled production run. Responsibilities: - Read sketches and blueprints to determine layout of assigned work. - Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as required. - Monitor equipment operation andmakeany necessary adjustments. - Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed. - Appropriate budget planning and maintenance of cost control over equipment. Qualifications: - Strong mechanical repair and trouble-shooting skills. - Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
