What You'll Do

Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Machine Operator uses industrial machinery, such as a Roll Former, along with hand tools, to produce products to a specification defined in product drawings. They are required to inspect materials and adhere to a manufacturing standard. In addition, he or she must perform the job duties and responsibilities listed below while maintaining a positive working relationship with coworkers and customers.



  • Interpret product drawings
  • Perform machine set up
  • Operate machine to produce products as specified
  • Enter production data in to computer system.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Count and package material as defined
  • Perform Operator machine maintenance and safety inspections
  • Follow Safety Program rules and processes
  • Work within and promote corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Your Experience

The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or learned within a short period of time to successfully perform the assigned duties.



  • High School or equivalent diploma
  • High level of mechanical aptitude
  • 2 years' experience operating Manufacturing equipment, Roll Forming machine preferred
  • Ability to use precision measuring devices
  • Strong computer and math skills


Additional Requirements



  • Must be able to pass pre-employment checks including a Drug Screen and Criminal Background.
  • Knight Wall Systems is a drug free workplace, and all employees are considered to be in "safety sensitive" positions. All employees will be tested for controlled substances, including cannabis.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, and handling materials
  • Frequent walking, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, crouching,/squatting up to 8+ hours per day
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 15 lbs. constantly (67-100% of time); up to 75 lbs. frequently (34-66% of time)
  • Ability to communicate (read, write, speak) constantly (67-100% of time)
  • Handling and manipulating objects and materials
  • Coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers
  • See with or without correction; hear with or without correction
