Ipsos Strategy3, a leading brand, marketing, and innovation consultancy, is seeking a driven, self-motivatedSummer Associate Consultantto join our North American team of entrepreneurial thinkers who are looking to change the marketing landscape for our clients.

What you can expect to be doing

As a Summer Associate Consultant, you will play a key role in crafting strategic deliverables for client engagements.

This includes:



  • Assisting in executive interviews
  • Conducting primary and secondary research
  • Crafting compelling storylines
  • Helping to run client workshops for clients such as Target, Starbucks, Merrill Lynch, AB InBev, P&G, Google and Uber


Typical engagements include:



  • Developing brand strategies,
  • Segmenting customer audiences
  • Understanding consumer journeys
  • Envisioning future growth pathways
  • Guiding innovation strategy


As an Associate Consultant, you will get the unique opportunity to work on multiple projects at a time directly with clients; one day you could be naming a new car brand and the next, reimagining the candy bar of the future.

  • Will bring a unique blend of both analytical and creative skills to bear on our client's problems
  • Are as comfortable working in Excel as you are binge watching the latest popular series and making a convincing case for why your favorite season is indeed the best.
  • Approach solving problems through a level of fluidity, comprehensiveness, confidence, and executive presence.
  • Currently enrolled in a college or University for an Undergraduate Degree
  • Strong time management & detail orientation with ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Desire to take on leadership responsibilities, both vertically and laterally
  • Ease and confidence with "thinking on your feet"
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
  • Love of, and nose for, brands, marketing, and innovation
  • Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Oversized personal impact and ability to serve as a "culture add"- we're not looking for people who "fit our mold"; rather, we want to bring on team members who willmold our cultureby pushing us to think in new ways


In addition to those qualifications, one of the key things we have in common is the ability to tie together disparate pieces of information (from primary research, social media, census data, keen observation, etc.) into a compelling story, and tell it in a way that is engaging and memorable.

NOTE: This is an onsite role based onsite in either our New York City or Chicago offices.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the hourly rate is $25 per hour.
