SAP SCM Architect

PURPOSE:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management) Architect with expertise in MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), PM (Plant Maintenance), QM (Quality Management), WM/IM (Warehouse Management/Inventory Management), and Ariba Buyer. The ideal candidate will also possess additional experience in ITSM (IT Service Management) and a strong background in Agile Delivery. Knowledge of the chemical, oil and gas, or refining industries is a significant plus.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Solution Design and Architecture
* Develop comprehensive SAP solutions aligned with business requirements, considering MM, PP, PM, QM, WM/IM, and Ariba Buyer modules, and specific nuances of the chemical and oil & gas industry.
* Integrate ITSM processes into the overall solution architecture, ensuring efficient incident, problem, and change management within SAP SCM.
* Integrate Agile delivery methodologies to enhance project execution and responsiveness to changing business needs.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate their needs into effective and scalable SAP solutions.
* Design and document solution architectures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, ITSM frameworks, and Agile principles.

Implementation and Configuration
* Lead the implementation of SAP SCM projects, overseeing the configuration of MM, PP, PM, QM, WM/IM and addressing the intricacies of the SAP IS-Oil industry solution.
* Configure MM, PP, PM, QM, WM/IM, and Ariba Buyer modules to meet specific business requirements.
* Implement Agile delivery practices, fostering collaboration, and iterative development cycles.

Optimization and Continuous Improvement
* Analyze existing SAP SCM processes within the context of the SAP solution, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
* Propose and implement enhancements to streamline order fulfillment, logistics, and customer engagement processes, incorporating feedback from Agile retrospectives and ITSM performance metrics.
* Stay informed about SAP updates and new features, providing recommendations for their adoption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, order to cash, development, and integration, to ensure alignment and integration of SAP SCM processes with overall business objectives.
* Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver successful SAP SCM solutions.

Training and Documentation
* Provide training and guidance to end-users on SAP SCM processes and functionalities.
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP configurations, customizations, and processes.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or SAP certifications are a plus.
* 5+ years of experience as an SAP OTC Solution Architect with expertise in MM, PP, PM, QM, WM/IM, and Ariba Buyer modules, with a focus on the SAP IS-Oil industry.
* Experience in integrating Ariba supplier into SAP SCM processes.
* Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, integration points, and pricing tools
* Hands-on experience in configuring SAP SCM modules, including customizations, enhancements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
