Responsibilities
The Academic Center for Excellence ( ACE) is comprised of 4 departments: Academic Advising, Academic Resource Center, Accessibility Services, and Registrar's Office. ACE provides academic support to students, service to faculty, and maintains all academic records. Responsibilities include:

  • Administrative support - assist with tasks such as filing, imaging, organizing documents, answering phone calls, and helping walk-ins (Career & self-development, Communication, Critical thinking, Equity & Inclusion, Professionalism, Technology)
  • Data entry - utilize computer skills to provide data entry, reports, and analysis as needed (Career & self-development, Communication, Critical thinking, Teamwork, Technology)
  • Research assistance - review academic records, policy and best practices for accessibility services, coaching, tutoring, and registrar's office (Career & self-development, Communication, Critical thinking, Equity & Inclusion, Leadership, Professionalism, Teamwork, Technology)
  • Social media and marketing support - manage social media accounts, create content, and develop marketing strategies (Critical Thinking, Equity & Inclusion, Leadership, Professionalism, Teamwork, Technology)

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs
  • Detail-oriented, able to function independently, self-starter
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent computer navigational, data entry and typing skills
  • Current student, minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Federal work study eligibility highly preferred
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position
  • Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university


Pay Rate Hourly $15
