Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a highly qualified patent agent to join its growing and dynamic Intellectual Property Practice Group. This opportunity is open to office location, with a strong preference for a patent agent located in one of our SE offices.


Candidates must have IP experience with drafting and patent prosecution, a chemical engineering or chemistry degree (advanced degrees and/or work experience prior to agency exam strongly preferred), and USPTO membership. Candidates should have a strong chemistry background. Patent agents will have 1 or more years of experience.
We seek candidates who are driven, possess a desire to develop and invest in their careers and the Firm, desire to work with a national/international client platform, and demonstrate superior client service ability. Candidates must have outstanding written and oral communication skills, excellent academic credentials, and strong organizational and analytical abilities.
