Turner Construction is seeking a highly motivated Intern to join our HQ Talent Management team. As a Talent Management Intern, you will be responsible for providing general support, assist with national conference planning, coordination, conduct recruiting industry research, and data management and analysis. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for talent management.

This is a hybrid full-time internship, reporting Manager of Talent Management, and the selected candidate will be required to work from our NYC office a minimum of three (3) days per week. Join us and be part of a dynamic team that is committed to shaping the future of talent management!

Essentials Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with national conference planning, coordination and candidate follow up
  • Maintenance of recruiting needs report and follow up with Field HR regarding missing information
  • Partner with HQ Marketing to identify and create Turner News, recruiting tweets and LinkedIn updates
  • Conduct recruiting industry research to benchmark Turner against its competitors in an effort to identify and recommend areas where Turner may be interested in having a presence
  • Assist with special projects by contributing research, plan development and execution, presentation development, and support administration of project management activities
  • Maintenance and organization of internal portals and team documents online
  • Assist with analysis, improvement and development of Recruiting Collateral (i.e. experienced hire brochure, veteran brochure, Turner 101, Intern Brochure)
  • Learn and utilize Turner's HR systems, processes, procedures
  • Provide metrics and analysis for different areas of talent management
  • May perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

  • Qualifications: A successful talent
    management Intern will be proactive and self-motivated, with excellent
    listening, verbal, and written communication skills. This position
    requires a high degree of organization, creativity, and a positive client
    service attitude. Must have an ability to work independently as well as in a
    collaborative/team environment. Ability to multi-task in a matrix
    environment, set priorities, problem solve and maintains confidentiality. Must
    have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Pursuing
    a four-year or advanced degree in the Human Resources or Industrial
    Organizational field. Knowledge of Cornerstone and PowerBI platform a plus.

    The hourly rate for this position is estimated to be $18.00 - $25.00.
