Wieland is hiring a variety of manufacturing roles, including but not limited to, Machine Operators, Overhead Crane Operators, and more! These roles will support manufacturing operations and production. These roles will be located at our Wheeling, IL facilities.

Starting Pay: $19.50-$21.00

Schedule: Openings on the 2nd and 3rd shift



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    Create and maintain a safe organized working environment
  • Follow health and safety standards
  • Ensure all quality checks are being done
  • Follow all production processes, guidelines and specifications
  • Inspect inventory and product orders for accuracy
  • Report product discrepancies to management
  • Assist with the setup of material on machines
  • Actively communicate with teammates
  • Other Operations tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a production environment is preferred
  • Experience operating manufacturing equipment is preferred
  • Capable of using basic measuring tools. calipers, tape measures, and micrometers preferred
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
  • Basic math skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Open to learn
  • Willingness to support and follow a strong safety culture

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs with or without assistance
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to wear required PPE (hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toe shoes)
