Job Summary Join our team at Wolfgang Puck Catering, where we offer full-service restaurant experiences alongside both on-premises and off-premises catering. As a Catering Manager, your role encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities, including training new associates, overseeing event setups, and managing temporary personnel alongside daily tasks. Ensuring seamless service delivery during events is paramount, encompassing everything from meticulous setup to efficient cleaning and breakdown procedures. Key Responsibilities: Supervising all catering events to guarantee smooth operations. Engaging in event logistics, quality enhancement, sanitation, and facility management. Collaborating with the Chef to craft innovative menus. Providing comprehensive training to catering associates in service protocols, menu presentation, and customer interaction. Monitoring labor and food costs for each event to maintain profitability. Cultivating and maintaining excellent client relationships through effective communication. Sharing responsibility for all foodservice-related activities. Undertaking additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of food service experience, including at least 1 year in a management capacity. Background in various food service sectors such as restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, or healthcare. Prior catering experience is essential. Familiarity with food and catering trends, emphasizing quality, production, sanitation, cost control, and presentation. Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, accounting, and computational skills. Strong computer literacy, including MS Office proficiency and internet navigation.
