Interacts with players and other employees in a friendly, courteous manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists the Executive Chef in the preparation of food. Guarantees proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards. Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of correct serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards. Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to players and other employees. Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards. Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area. Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils. Assists the dietitian in managing the operation of the performance nutrition fueling station. Responsible for weekly management of inventory and stocking of dietary supplements and snacks. Assists the dietitian in the preparation of smoothies and making smoothies to order using standard measures and recipes. Create evidence-based nutrition education materials, if needed. Assists the dietitian in the preparation of road trips by packing the travel trunk with nutrition essentials. Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
