Visiting Assistant Professor - Structural Geology 36516BR Geosciences Position Description Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit. The Department of Geosciences at Texas Tech University seeks candidates for a 10-month, fixed term, non-tenure track, position with expertise in Structural Geology beginning August 2024. About the Department/School/Area The Department of Geosciences at Texas Tech University offers B.S., B.A., M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Geography and the Environment, Atmospheric Science, and Geosciences (with concentrations in Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Geology), and offers a Graduate and Undergraduate Certificate in GIST. Major/Essential Functions The Department of Geosciences at Texas Tech University seeks candidates for a 10-month, fixed term, non-tenure track, position with expertise in Structural Geology beginning August 2024. The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor and contribute to maintaining the university's mission through teaching and supporting student success.
