Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) for Pulmonary ranging from $200,000.00 to $325,000.00. The posted UC salary scales [https://ap.uci.edu/compensation/salary-scales/] set the base pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan [https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf] , which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Applicants must have an MD, DO or PhD (or combined degrees) and a strong record of scholarly output in basic, epidemiological, or translational research related to lung diseases or critical care medicine. In addition, applicants must demonstrate recent success in acquiring research funding. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively and congenially within a diverse academic and clinical environment are additional requirements. Successful applicants will be responsible for conducting independent research related to lung diseases or critical care medicine. Additional responsibilities include teaching and service to the department, school, university, and the discipline. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
