Signode offers a competitive salary with a range of $100,000 - $125,000 based on experience and skill set as well as a great benefits package that includes medical, dental, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability as well as the 401K Program.

Qualifications



  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or manufacturing.
  • 7+ years of progressive plant/manufacturing management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of all plant operating processes and equipment, purchasing procedures, safety procedures, governmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Experience selecting, defining roles, leading, mentoring, and motivating teams.
  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills along with a working knowledge of MS Office.
  • This role will need to be available to respond to emergencies as needed.


Plant Manager job details include:



  • Improve safety records by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes while ensuring safety and environmental guidelines are complete and compliance is enforced.
  • Ensures the efficient and effective operation of the plant by directing and managing all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities.
  • Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Initiate plans and processes that minimize manufacturing costs and downtime.
  • Ensure attainment of business objectives and production schedules that meet or exceed our company's customer expectations.
  • Maintain productivity levels through effective monitoring of staffing levels and financial requirements. - Develop and control profit plans and budget
  • Manage spending against budget in relation to changes in production volume while working to establish management practices throughout assigned areas which include all employees' positive involvement with opportunities for input and action.
  • Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives - Provide direction, development, and leadership to the entire manufacturing team while managing a multiple-shift operation.
