Responsibilities
- Complete vital signs, medication reconciliation, allergy review, inquire of past medical and family history, and document this information in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
- Participate in the completion of provider orders by accurately performing venipuncture and EKGs, appropriately applying ambulatory cardiac monitoring, correctly selecting and documenting medication samples, and patient education as directed by nurse or provider.
- Complete refill authorization requests daily.
- Maintain and stock exam rooms with supplies.
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Job Requirements
- 1 - 3 years medical assistant experience
- Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant or ABR credentials
