We are in search of a seasoned professional to join our team as the Director of Clinical Services. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead recruitment, supervision, coaching, training, and scheduling of therapists within our Outpatient Mental Health Clinics. Your overarching responsibility will entail orchestrating the day-to-day operations, planning, growth, and program development of the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, collaboratively operating with our day and residential programs to cater to the needs of adults coping with severe and profound mental illness.
Position Details:
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for evening and weekend availability as required.
Location: Lanham/Forestville/Odenton, MD
Requirements:
- Maryland licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LCMFT, alongside being an approved Clinical Supervisor by the Maryland Board (BSWE or BOPC).
- 2 years of successful management experience, inclusive of formal staff supervision and fiscal/growth responsibilities.
- 5 years of hands-on experience working with individuals dealing with mental illness.
- Familiarity with Risk Management, Cultural Diversity, CARF Accreditation process, and Maryland's public mental health system.
- Ability to clear background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities:
- Offer clinical supervision to non-independently licensed therapists as necessary.
- Provide administrative supervision to therapists.
- Ensure fiscal accountability of the clinic, encompassing staff productivity, program growth, and service billability.
- Spearhead the recruitment, interview, and selection process for qualified candidates, aligning with regional and agency objectives.
- Support interns through an effective onboarding process to facilitate their practice proficiency.
- Coordinate and monitor caseload assignments, ensuring timely problem-solving and crisis intervention.

Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $70,337 - $82,997 per year, paid bi-weekly. Salary calculated based on education and experience.
Other Compensation: Employees are eligible for bonuses (variable, depending on company and individual performance).
PTO: New employees can accrue up to 96 hours of PTO in the first year (pro-rated based on start date). Employees can accrue up to 40 hours of sick leave per calendar year (pro-rated based on start date).
Holidays: 8 paid holidays per year
Retirement: 403(b) plan participation available at hire. Employer matching after 1000 hours of service. Discretionary employer contributions are given at least once a year.
