Now Hiring: On-call positions for Overnight Weekends Avivo's Ending Homelessness division provides pathways to housing for individuals experiencing homelessness. We work with county coordinated entry systems and tribal governments, as well as operating a unique street outreach teams to connect unsheltered individuals with shelter and housing. We assist individuals as they find and maintain housing, supporting them in scattered-site apartments in the community as well as site-based housing. The role of the Resident Advocate is to ensure safety of the residents by completing home checks, monitoring unwanted guests, passing out meals and beverages as needed, providing basics needs as requested, deescalating resident conflicts, and monitoring chemical health concerns.
