At the Inn at SentryWorld, we focus on the guest experience. Our property provides an upscale experience with authentic Wisconsin charm. We're looking for an experienced Baker who'll join the team and help deliver on our bakery concept. You'll assist in the preparation of all bakery items, including breads, pastries, and other menu items served at The Inn. This is a part time position less than 20 hours per week with starting wage at $16/hr. If you feel that your background fits please apply to the position below. What You'll Do As our part time Baker, you'll: Prepare, bake, & decorate breads, bars, muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, pastries, and specialty candies chocolate confectionaries for our guests. Maintain cleanliness of equipment, cases, and counter ensuring all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are met. Collaborates with Cafe Manager on bakery preparation and execution for special functions to ensure exceptional service is provided. Work closely with Cafe's back of house team for the bakery's production schedule while providing exceptional service, increasing sales, and managing costs. We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable and/or willing to learn how to bake pastries from scratch, and has experience with bread production from scratch. What it Takes Technical degree or equivalent experience Degree in Culinary Arts strongly preferred At least 2+ years of related baking experience Able to obtain ServSafe & State Food Handler Certification Listening, communication, and customer service skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed What You'll Receive We strive to provide exceptional experiences for our guests, and we want to provide you with a similar experience.
