Greet and assist customers. Function as an area lead, training and assisting receptionists while ensuring customer service standards are achieved.

Pay Class and Pay

Pay Class: Full Time Pay Rate: $10.33 - $13.69 per hour

Essential Responsibilities:
|
- Greet and assist customers. Ensure appointments are scheduled according to the Resources Scheduling guidelines, answer patient's questions, answer phones, check patients in and out, maintain patient records, collect payments, monitor and perform other front desk tasks as needed. Ensure calls for insurance pre-authorization.
- Confirm appointments and insurance pre-authorizations the day before; no shows are contacted the same day to reschedule appointments.
- Work with management to develop and facilitate Receptionist training. May cross train in the retail area when schedule allows.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records.
- Call for insurance preauthorization. Follow up on hold authorizations.
- Clean and maintain the reception area.
- Maintain outside and internal Doctor Referral log for medical patients.
- Offer current promotions and starting prices to customers.

Experience/Education:
|
- One (1) - five (5) years of related experience required.
- Optical preferred
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
|

Compensation range for the roles is listed below. Applicable salary rangers may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. As a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses, equity, and commissions. Pay Class: Pay: $9.38 - $12.42 per hour
