Position Overview Under the supervision of the BH UM Team Lead, the Summer Intern will be responsible for assisting the UM providers and UM clinicians with discharge planning. They will be exposed to reports that support the activity around the BH UM role. The Summer intern will work on projects related to high utilizer data analytics, entering discharges to ensure FUH measures are met, creating Notice Of Admissions for the BH UM team. The Summer Intern will assist with putting together trainings to support the Behavioral Health HARP department. Join us this summer (June - August) for a highly interactive and engaging internship experience where you get to work alongside various departments to develop your skills and learn more about the health insurance and healthcare industry. Department Requesting: Undergraduate Student Interns will also participate in workshops, activities and other events organized by MetroPlusHealth *Note: This is a paid internship program.
