Job Description

The O?ce of Community Partnerships and Engagement Out-of-School STEM Coordinator is critical in ensuring compliance with federal and state grants. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting federal grants and multiple projects. This position reports to the Manager of Grants and Partnerships. Because the National Institute of Health fully funds the position, funding is contingent upon continuing this and other grants. This position is grant-funded through September 30, 2024, with the possibility of renewal. Includes bene?ts.

Qualifications

Education: Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)

Experience:



  • 2+ years of experience with federal grant data collection/analysis
  • Experience using coding languages such as Java to write computer programs, operating systems, and more is a plus
  • Experience managing federal grant data


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Experience with data collection methods and analysis
  • Experience using analytics software, data visualization software, and data management programs
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Dependable and ability to work under time constraints
  • Capable of managing multiple deadlines
  • Ability to create professional reports and newsletters
  • Possesses the essential skills to work collaboratively with staff, school personnel, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O?ce Suite is required
  • Experience working with augmented reality/virtual reality equipment and 3-D computer equipment is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Under the direction of the Manager of Grants and Partnerships, help maintain detailed and accurate administrative records for all After-School STEM programming.
  • Work closely with the Manager of Grants and Partnerships to collect and enter required grant data into the data management system, including program and activity scheduling; student enrollment, demographics, attendance, and academic records; family demographics and attendance; and communication records
  • Provide administrative support as needed and aligned with the expectations of the program
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of non-consumable program supplies and equipment
  • Collect, review, and submit sta? timesheets for approval
  • Assist with the development of stakeholder reports and program newsletters
  • Attend required webinars and technical assistance meetings
  • Communicate and collaborate with University Partners.
  • Participate in sta? and team meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor


Clearances:



  • Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
  • Tuberculosis Skin Test.


Public Health Compliance:



  • Must follow safety and health protocols.
