MetroPlusHealth Summer Internship: IT Production Support

Position Overview

Perform a variety of routine technical and administrative tasks accurately and timely. Processing of data through computer systems. This includes the running of Production jobs in PowerStepp. Quality Assurance of daily, weekly monthly and ad-hoc Production jobs. Interact with business units, vendors, and IT Staff to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Production issues.

Department Requesting: Undergraduate Student / Graduate Student

Interns will also participate in workshops, activities and other events organized by MetroPlusHealth

*Note: This is a paid internship program. Prospective interns must be current students attending an accredited College or University and must be 18 years or older to be considered.

• Run customized queries and data extracts via PowerSTEPP/AS400 and Access Database
• Perform data corrections and analyze data inconsistencies in PowerStepp
• Perform all applicable QA on every production job processed
• Ensure the quality of the processes meet the specifications and requirements
• Adhere to mandated response times as outlined in the MetroPlus policies and procedures
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
• Maintain up to date documentation on parameters for successful execution of these production processes
• Monitoring and executing Secure FTP transfers to and from vendors

• High School Diploma or evidence of having satisfactorily passed a High School Equivalency Program
