The Watts Water Technologies family of companies designs and manufactures valves and drains and related products that promote the comfort and safety of people and the quality, conservation, and control of water used in commercial, residential, industrial, and municipal applications. The Watts Internship Program is strategically designed to allow you the opportunity to utilize what you have learned in the classroom while gaining a true understanding of the business world by applying those key principles through hands-on experience. During the internship, students will gain exposure to and impact operations. There will be many chances to network with like-minded manufacturing and industrial engineering professionals and stimulate your mind through cross-departmental collaboration. This is a summer internship for a college student. The role will last approximately 12 weeks over the summer at our Blauvelt, NY facility. Support the implementation of the Commercial Excellence program for one of the leading manufacturing companies specializing in Commercial Condensing boilers and high efficiency water heating equipment. WORKING CONDITIONS This role performs responsibilities in both a typical business office environment as well as on the manufacturing shop floor. Noise level in the office is moderate e.g., computer, phone, printer, light foot traffic. Office lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no unpleasant conditions such as noise or dust.
