Principal Legal Analyst is responsible for recommending, designing, and running a cross-team projects to support the broader business strategy.

Job Summary:

You will work with other legal analysts to develop litigation content for Bloomberg Law. You will leverage your corporate and commercial litigation experience to recommend, design, and run cross-team projects to create and support litigation practitioner clients. You will be responsible for implementing the corporate and commercial litigation content roadmap.

What you will do:

  • Design, draft, and curatepractical guidance in your area of subject matter expertise that assists legal practitioners, both in terms of substance and workflows, to undertake their work more efficiently and to learn new areas efficiently.

  • Authoranalysis of legal market trendsthatisdata-driven andleveragesyour legal expertise, in order to provide insights to lawyers that improve their understanding of legal developments.

  • Scope and manageteam projects to develop technology-enhanced tools and content for the legal market.

  • Mentor and train more junior team members, while providing continuous project and performance feedback to peers and supervisor.

  • Collaboratewithin and across teams todevelop,curate, andmaintainunique content and analysis ideas.

  • Engagein thought leadership throughinteractions with law school, law firm, government, and corporate leaders, as well asparticipation at industry conferences and events, webinars, and social media.

  • Communicateand collaborate with BloombergLaw sales, customer experience, and marketing teams toinform internal stakeholders of major content initiatives and to facilitatea cycle of feedback and new content ideas directly from the customers.

You need to have:

  • Bachelor'sdegreerequired.JDrequired.

  • 7 years' experience in the relevant area(s) of law, either through practicing or other industry experience, including significant knowledge of Delaware Court of Chancery practice and procedure.

  • Demonstrated experience and success in developing andexecutingworkflow solutions to solvecustomer problems in the legal, professional, or financial markets.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Delaware Court of Chancery practice is a plus.
